This is not a jig, or a file to make a jig... this is a template file that you can use to ling up
This is not a jig, or a file to make a jig... this is a template file that you can use to ling up
your wallet either on the deck or in a temp/permanent jig.
This is not intended to replace any template file that may have come
with a 3D printed jig you bought from another source, but instead to be used however you like on any machine.
Yes, mine can be used with any jig, as you just basically use the jig for holding the wallet,
then line up and square up your jig according to the instructions. But, the intent for this
file is not to replace those that may have come with a jig from another source.
Not all jigs that are sold, even with files, come with a way to square them to your laser
to ensure 100% replication of like designs when mass producing. They tend to expect
you to know how to do that.
However, if you find yourself struggling to line up your wallet in one of those jigs and
making them squared to the gantry, then this file will solve that problem.
This is the template I use when doing my wallets. It is measured exactly to match the wallets and used the screw holes for alignment.
